Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday said that there will soon be jobs under the new recruitment policy, and that work on the 1932 land records-based domicile policy is underway.
He also lashed out at the BJP, which had been demanding a statement from the CM on the recruitment policy, to clear its stand on the 1932 Khatiyan (land records) policy.
In his concluding remarks on the last day of the budget session of the state assembly, Soren said, "The 1932 policy is, was and will remain ours… work on it is underway… there will be jobs under the new recruitment policy… 'Yeh woh sher ka baccha hai jo lambi chalaang ke pehle do kadam peeche aaya hai' (this is that lion cub, which has taken two steps back before taking a long jump)."

Jharkhand Assembly witnessed uproarious scenes since March 13 as the BJP-led opposition demanded the CM's statement on the Khatiyan and new recruitment policy issues.
The BJP had withdrawn its protest after the Business Advisory Committee had on March 16 decided that the CM will reply on the issue during the session according to his convenience.
Attacking the BJP, he said, "The opposition should clear their stand on the 1932 Khatiyan. On one hand, they speak in its support in the House and on the other, they protest outside. BJP members go to the high court in protest against it."

Amid noisy scenes, Soren said when his government tried to ensure 100 per cent jobs for Jharkhandis, the opposition created obstacles.
"I knew we would face these hindrances but don't worry, everything will fall in place in time," he said.
The budget session of the assembly, which started on February 27, was adjourned sine die on Thursday by Speaker Rabindranath Mahto.
