In a viral video from Mangolpuri in North West Delhi, a man can be seen hitting a woman and shoving her into a cab while another man accompanying him watched.
According to a report by India Today, the Delhi Outer District DCP, took cognizance of the video and launched a probe. He said, “Investigation regarding the video has been going on since last night. The owner of the cab lives in Gurugram and a police team will have a word with him.”
The police official also said that the vehicle was booked from Rohini for Vikaspuri by two boys and a girl. "On the way, they had an altercation and a scuffle. The video shows a boy forcibly pushing the girl inside the cab. It happened after the girl wanted to move out following the altercation. Further investigation is in progress,” the top police official said.

The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has also taken cognisance of the video. Chairperson, Swati Maliwal shared the video and said, "Taking cognizance of this viral video of a woman being forced into a vehicle and beaten up, I am issuing a notice to the Delhi Police. The commission will ensure strict action against these people."
