Bihar Museum Organises 'Retrospective Exhibition' Featuring Senior Bihari Artists

The Bihar Museum in Patna on Thursday inaugurated a "Retrospective Exhibition" that features complete works of three artists — Anandi Prasad Badal, Narendra Pal Singh, and Sachindranath Jha. It's an initiative to make people aware of the works of Bihar's senior artists.The inauguration event included book releases and a performance by Jha. It was followed by a tour of the museum's multi-purpose and temporary exhibition hall where all the exhibits are displayed. The exhibition will conclude on June 1. The Bihar Museum was established in 2015 with an aim to familiarise the country and the world with Bihar's art, culture, and archaeological heritage. It was felt that there is a need to make art-lovers aware of the state's artists. The current exhibition is a result of it.
