The MP inaugurated an exhibition and sales fair in Kolar on the occasion of International Women's Day. He stopped at a stall and scolded the vendor saying, "Why you didn't [put] bindi? Who allowed you to keep the shop here. Why there is board in the name of Vaishnavi? With name of Sujatha, just because someone gives money you don't keep bindi. First keep the bindi. Hey give a bindi to that lady. You're husband is still alive right? Don't have any commonsense."
