Why I Love Outlook

To read insightful content is the requirement of my profession. Hence, I often look for the latest issue of Outlook, which gives me a balanced perspective and perfect analysis of the events happening in society. Needless to say that Outlook is one of the regulars on my shelf. The magazine has preserved its own unique style of journalism and has evolved impressively. Yet, it isn’t like a regular, clichéd political publication. The views and estimations on current political and social affairs hold significance and validity. The current editorial team of the magazine is taking forward the legacy of its founder Vinod Mehta. Being a true believer in democratic values, I would like to place on record my deep appreciation for true and benevolent reporting. I congratulate Outlook for its honest stories. But besides political reporting, which undoubtedly is significant, certain social issues like female foeticide, gender-related health problems, trafficking of women and so on. Moreover, it is important to highlight interventions like the anti-tobacco campaign, initiatives for differently able persons, welfare for farmers, helping senior citizens. It’s my sincere appeal to Outlook to focus on such issues and work towards eradication of these evils. I congratulate Outlook for its constant, incisive and rational journalism.
