Bhaichung Bhutia, Indian football captain
"I don’t see any underdog pulling off surprises. It’s not going to be like the Euro Cup 2004 when Greece won. Who would win? One of the seven favourites—Brazil, France, Spain, Italy, Argentina, Holland or England. I don’t see the Asian teams going too far. Korea and Japan can pull off a win or two."

Indrani Dasgupta, model
"I am not a crazy fan but I love to watch Brazil play. I think they’ll take the Cup. What I like the most about Brazilians is that they always play big, they do crazy things on the field and perform the best when under lot of tension. I plan to watch their games with my friends. Ronaldinho is my favourite and I’ve been following him for the last six years."

M.S. Dhoni, cricketer
"I’ve grown up watching a lot of English Premier League on TV. But in the last year or so, it has been difficult. I think Brazil has the flair and the skill to win again in Europe. I also like England, France and, to some extent, Portugal. It will be difficult for me to catch the football action on TV because I am going to be busy with the Test series against the West Indies."

Rajyavardhan Rathore, shooter
"World Cup football stirs the souls of millions. I will be in Germany for a shooting competition but I may not get to go to the football venues, though I can experience the atmosphere. I’ll look out for Brazil, Italy and Germany. The Brazilians’ attitude amazes methe most, their game reflects their national character."
