How are you feeling after the surgery?
I feel very happening. I've titanium implanted in me. It's more precious than platinum or gold.
Are you completely cured now?
I will be only if I watch my steps.
Are you totally homebound now?
Not really. I go to my production office for 3-4 hours every day.
Do we look forward to your stunts soon?
I hope so. But I've been specifically warned that there'll be pain since this was an internal injury—right below my neck.
When do you start work on the pending projects?
I've already started dubbing for Chalte Chalte. Main Hoon Na should also be over soon.
Yash Chopra has also said he's willing to start work with you again.
Yashji is very keen. We were planning to start the film in May if I could postpone my surgery to February-March 2004.
Your dates need a lot of adjustment?
Yashji, Karan Johar and Ashutosh Gowariker can easily adjust my dates. Anyways, it's just a matter of three to four months.
When will you be back on the sets?
I won't take any chances this time and will hold on till sometime in June.
You also had a knee surgery in the past.
I never gave myself enough time to recover completely. I started shooting for Mohabbatein just 10 days after the surgery.
A lot of industry people visited you in London when you were recuperating.
I didn't want too many people there. Some of them like Aditya Chopra did surprise me.
