how to
Tackle Back Pain

It’s probably a problem one in two people deal with daily—backaches and the cures to it is as simple as it can get. Start with fixing your posture. A straight spine places the least stress on your back. The place you sleep in is as important—mattresses that are too soft and pillows that are too thick can contribute to back pain. Morning stretches can be excellent to begin a painless day with. And in case none of it works, a cold ice compression followed by a nice warm bath will do wonders.

Sakti Burman ’60s-’80s is exactly as the name suggests—a collection of works by Sakti Burman through those three decades. The spirituality in art, and art in life aesthetic that Burman created post 1960s is represented here by watercolours, where he transforms the vacuity of space into a divine light through the use of figurative forms—a rarity in the medium.
