You seemed confident when you outplayed Gaby Schmol of Switzerland in the German Ladies Open to earn your fourth WISPA title.

It felt good to win in Germany, especially 3-0 in the final. I had beat Gaby a month earlier in tough 4-setter. It helped me to gain confidence.

Was there any special preparation?

I had just finished the Asian seniors in Chennai, so I was confident of playing well. In Chennai I work with Major Maniam and Cyrus. Their guidance helped me do well.

Why did you choose to train in London? Who is your present coach?

I train in England with Malcolm Wilstrop. He has coached some of the world’s best players.

Brief us about your preparation for the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games?

I am training in England now, and then will play some tournaments, as well as train.

How do you feel about squash not being included in the Olympics games list so far?

It is a massive blow; squash is as deserving as any...
