Gone are the days of dancing in polka pants. The Virar-ka-chokra-turned-MP on Lady Luck’s betrayals.

You seem to be ridden with controversies.
I'm passing through a bad phase which has prolonged for several years.

Your championing of Shakti Kapoor was resented.
I didn't champion anybody. I just presented the situation as it exists.

Your MPLAD fund is also under scrutiny?
Rs 1.75 crore has been utilised to improve the water situation in my constituency, Rs 25 lakh for tsunami relief and the remaining Rs 40 lakh has been recommended for education and water. The entire money has been disbursed.

Is your party pleased with you?
It's early days yet to get to know and understand each other. This is the case in all parties.

What have you achieved so far?
The water problem has been solved.

Your last hit seems far away.
Yes, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was in 1998 but I couldn't even enjoy the success of that.

Yes, the last nine years have been pretty bad. After Bade Miyan it's been failure and loneliness.

Your own production is in the pipeline?
Yes, Sukh. All I can say is it'll definitely release.
