Delhi’s party scene seems to have hit a low with the war and nuke talk gaining ground. And Ashraf Jehangir Qazi is not the only guy being missed by the party hoppers. Another regular party-goer, K.P.S. Gill, is being rather fondly remembered by the P3Ps...Meanwhile, far away in NY, Shabana Azmi’s reading of Shashi Tharoor’s Riot turned out to be very successful despite the angry demonstrations outside the hall...From one success story to another. The editor of the high-profile film magazine Cinemaya, Aruna Vasudev, has been made a Chevalier in France’s Order of Arts and Letters ...Talk of France and talk of Cannes. After its premiere at the fest of fests, Devdas is in for some last-minute makeover. Grapevine has it that a couple of new songs might be added to the movie even as its release date has been shifted from late June to mid-July...But Anupam Kher thinks he is responsible. Apparently Devdas’ release was coinciding with Kher’s debut directorial venture Om Jai Jagadish. So Kher would want us to believe Sanjay Leela Bhansali got scared of the competition. Is OJJ so good? Let’s wait and watch...
