Stoking the senses of all foodies, the three-day banquet has been conceived by Farzana Contractor, editor of our only gourmet-glossy magazine, Upper Crust
. "We’ve been in the market for three years and with each issue we’ve seen an amazing increase in response to food," says Contractor. "We thought this show would be a great way of bringing people in touch with fine foods, truffles and caviar." Besides coveted ingredients, the feast will also include spirits, coffees and exotic condiments. To keep everybody’s spirits high, satellite events have also been planned like wine and cheese tastings, live cooking demos by celebrity chefs, chocolate-making and cigar appreciation sessions. It’s going to be a quite a gastronomic smorgasbord. Starve now if you need to, but come November 7, you should shine up your silver spoons before going forth and gourmandising.
