Indians tend to go as far as Bangkok for non-spiritual pleasures. They would do well to take one step further for a truly mind-boggling experience. This is the time to go. Cambodia has been through troubled times in recent years and the tourist hordes are just beginning to discover Angkor Wat. During my three days I saw a solitary Indian and he was a back-packing student from London. Nehru visited the country in 1954 and the Cambodians rewarded him by naming a major street in Phnom Penh, the capital, after him.
