Jan 29: A person detonates the bomb strapped to him during a security check, at Dera Ismail Khan, NWFP. 3 killed.

Feb 3: A suicide bomber attacks a military convoy in Tank district, NWFP. Two soldiers killed, seven others injured.

Feb 4: A militant blows himself up while planting a bomb outside a video-music shop in Lakki Marwat district, NWFP. A dozen shops in the vicinity damaged.

Feb 6: A bomber targets the car park of Islamabad airport, killing himself and injuring 10 people.

Feb 17: A suicide attack inside the court of a senior civil judge in Quetta kills 17 people and injures 35.
