Rajasthan Royals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 29 runs at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on Tuesday night. The win took the 2008 champions to the top of IPL 2022 points table. It was a Riyan Parag special that helped the side win the game. RR were 68/4 after 9.3 overs when Parag arrived at the crease. He stayed not out (56 off 31) till the end to propel RR to 144/8 despite wickets falling from other end. In return, the RR bowlers put up a sensational show to bundle out RCB for 115. Kuldeep Sen stood apart with figures of 4/20, while Ravichandran Ashwin too was impressive with his 3/17. Parag also contributed in the second innings by taking four catches.
