Villages and towns, coasts and forests, since 2015… Over the last 7 years, our annual Outlook Indian Responsible Tourism Awards (IRTA)—India's only Responsible Tourism Awards—has become a touchstone for best practices that transform destinations and positively impact local communities.

This year, we’ve decided to take our message of sustainability further and deeper into some of the remotest corners of our country with the Indian Responsible Tourism STATE AWARDS (IRSTA), starting with a chapter in Rajasthan. As a state with a strong identity of its own, one that often prompts travellers to equate the India Experience with the Rajasthan Experience, Rajasthan has always celebrated its people, and the distinctive colours of its everyday life… which is the very bedrock of Responsible Tourism. IRSTA shall honour the hands and minds that have shaped this reality.
