Ah, Those Winning Tyres

When he’s not driving expensive cars, Salman Khan enjoys a bit of bicycling too. Brand ambassador of breathtakingly scenic Arunachal Pradesh, he put on his cycling shoes (and a handsome Monpa jacket) for promoting the Mechuka Adventure Festival. Flanking him are Arunachal CM Pema Khandu (left) and MoS Kiren Rijiju.

Gaullic Ball

Parents are supposed to be pals these days, so it’s in the fitness of things that Aamir Khan got up as Obelix to his son Azad’s Asterix at a costume party. Wife Kiran is Getafix the druid, the one who concocts the magic potion. Wonder if any of Azad’s Tintin-loving friends made a costume statement too!

The 21-year-old  is to debut in Jawani Janeman, a film also starring Saif Ali Khan (we hope not opposite her). We further pray she’s not asked to copy an iconic scene, as her mom Pooja Bedi was in Jo Jeeta....

This Too Happened

A former Miss Moscow, Oksana Voevodina, 25, married Malaysia’s head of state, King Muhammad V of Kelantan, 49, in an elaborate ceremony in a Moscow concert hall on November 22. The bride has reportedly converted to Islam, adopted the name Rihana, and took a hijabi selfie with the king.
