Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has been set up by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2010 at Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is one of the fastest growing states of India with its rich mineral, forest, natural and local resources.
Raipur is the capital of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. The classes of IIM Raipur are temporarily being conducted at the Government Engineering College Raipur. The foundation stone for the new campus was laid on 5 May 2013 by the Union Minister of HRD MR. Pallam Raju. The new campus is coming up in Naya Raipur, the new capital city of the state on a budget of around 600 crores.
