Extraordinary efforts, official and private, have gone into the rescue and relief operations for benefit of the marooned people in commendable ways. I've, however, just two things to point out here:
    1. Will Kerala stop brutal culling and killing of dogs in the god's own country?
    2. Reports of discrimination in relief and rehabilitation of dalits have emerged in the media. Shameful and disgraceful it is to hear or read such news. If the state does not patromize anti-social elements in these directions, such disgraceful development cannot take place.
Education in Kerala hasn't ligheted up the dark corners of the Malayalis. Of course, the same can be said about whole of Indians, educated or illiterates.
