All said and done The BJP is a dangerous party, communal and wicked. Despite all the limitation of Mamata atleast she is not vile and wicked. If she changes TMC style and improves her performance she is a better better bet for Bengalis.By now mamta must learn from introspection and refine the way she operates. The advantage about competition is parties will have to improve the performance.

Bengal is fascinating. One could say that, nationally, BJP has rewritten Indian politics. Some commenters are right in stating that India itself may have changed in the meantime, from vote-bank pandering over to what can be termed "economic impatience". The growth and development of Bangladesh may not have gone unnoticed in Kolkata or Delhi, and it could be natural for people to think, "Why not us?". Modi has tapped into this economic impatience, which is what has propelled his rise. If he can unleash the latent potential of Indians economically, then by no means is Bengal beyond reach. Bengal, after all, is supposed to be India's richest state.

NM and AS would make every effort to repeat Chandra Babu experience to remove Mamta in WB - BJP along with TRS made up with Jagan to defeat TDP, trying to complete eliminate TDP on the political stage, TRS and Jagan colluding with BJP for tactical gains without realsing that strategically along the way they themselves endup as targets sooner than later!!!

This article is missing the point. Her various 'mistakes' and 'accomplishments' pointed out here are just the symptoms. The root cause of her problems is that India has changed. The old politics of providing patronage and benefits to your vote-bank at the cost of the rest of the populace is not going to work anymore. In the BJP, the people have found a organization that works for the upliftment of all Indians, whether they voted for the BJP or not. The other political parties have only one choice, work for all the populace or disappear.
