As long as the media is under the control of Modi these surveys will project him ahead of others.

Apropos the last para, the happenings and rumblings in Karnataka following the unilateral and complete surrender by Congress with its 78 to JD(S)' 38, should be an eye opener. Similar surrender of a Rajya Sabha seat in Kerala also is very relevant.  Regardless of the results in 2019, Rahul's Congress simply does not make the cut and cannot lead, even if it manages to have a larger share of MPs. They rushed to prevent in Karnataka, a repaeat of Goa, Tripura and Manipur by the BJP,  but only ended up offering on a plate to Kumaraswamy their so called 'mandate to rule' with just 78 MLAs. Recent events over the last few days are certainly NO credit to Congress, Rahul or his trusted Field Marshall, Siddaramiah. Is there anything at all to be proud about how Congress 'handled' Karnataka?
