Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced on Wednesday that its 28th annual general meeting (AGM) will be held on June 29, 2023. In its statement, the firm said that the meeting will be held through video conferencing/ other audio visual means.
The statement read, “Pursuant to Regulation 34(1) of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we are submitting herewith the Integrated Annual Report containing the Notice of AGM for the financial year 2022-23 which is being sent only through electronic mode to the Members, who have registered their e-mail addresses with the Company/ Depositories.”
In the meeting, the firm will present its audited financial statements for the fiscal year 2023 and confirm the payment of interim dividend on equity shares for the financial year. During the meeting, the firm is expected to confirm the appointment of K Krithivasan as director of the company. Krithivasan began his stint as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the firm from June 1, taking over from Rajesh Gopinathan who resigned earlier this year.
TCS announced its Q4 FY23 results in April in which the company said it recorded 16.9 per cent year-on-year growth in revenues and its profit grew by 14.7 per cent yoy in the quarter. It also announced a dividend of Rs 24 per equity share. Following the announcement of its results, the firm saw a decline in its share value as the results did not meet market expectations.
