Latest Crypto News: Binance Intends To Increase Workforce By 5,000 People In 2023, Yuga Labs Launches Skill-Based NFT Mint

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said on January 11, 2023 that the company is planning a recruiting drive this year. He was speaking at the Crypto Finance Conference in St. Moritz, Switzerland.

This is a rather contrarian stance in the face of massive personnel reductions at crypto companies due to the ongoing pressure on coin prices.

Zhao said Binance will increase its workforce from 3,000 employees to "nearly" 8,000 by 2023.

Other rival exchanges have been forced to shed significant portions of their workforces after the crypto market lost about $1.4 trillion in 2022, and key digital currencies like Bitcoin and Ether saw massive fall in prices.

“We will continue to build, and hopefully, we will ramp up again before the next bull market,” Zhao said.

Players will need these tokens to play the skill-based game Dookey Dash, which launches on January 18.
