Indian Railways online ticketing and catering arm - Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is offering a two nights and three days cruise package starting from Guwahati to Silghat. The IRCTC's MV Mahabaahu Upstream Cruise package, ex-Pandu Port will start from Guwahati and it is priced at Rs 55,125 per person on single occupancy basis for superior cabin. The tour will commence from March 5, 2023, according to information on irctctourism.com.
MV Mahabaahu Cruise has six superior cabins without balcony, four deluxe cabins with balcony, one luxury cabin with balcony and one suite with balcony. All the cabins have twin beds that can be converted to double beds.

Day 1: Upon arrival at Guwahati Airportat 11:00 am, representatives of MV Mahabaahu will drive tourists to Kamakhya Temple. Later they will be taken to Saraighat Bridge from where they will sail past Peacock Island and notice the hills around Guwahati that make it picturesque. Soon after tourists will briefed on safety measures and a presentation on the ship’s facilities be shown to them. As the evening progresses, tourists can gather in the lounge for drinks and move on for a sit-down Chef’s Welcome Dinner in the Ship’s Restaurant ‘Mungri Mungram’.
Day 2: In the morning, tourists can expirience a yoga session and breakfast will be served on board from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and later thy will be taken for a tour of Bangla Village.
The tourists will return to ship for lunch and tourists can enjoy steam, sauna, Jacuzzi or an ayurvedic massage on board.
Day 3: The MV Mahabaahu will sail back to Guwahati via Singri and Tezpur.
The IRCTC's package includes airport-jetty-airport transfers and sightseeing as per itinerary, accommodation and all meals as indicated by the program, onboard English-speaking guide, all entrance fees, still camera fee, and local assistance is included.
