Meta opened the waitlist of Meta Verified for Indian accounts on Instagram and Facebook. Following the footsteps of Elon Musk-owned Twitter, Meta recently enabled users to get their Meta accounts verified with a Blue Tick checkmark in US for $14.99 a month, Australia and New Zealand.
Mark Zuckerberg introduced Meta Verified in February 2022, he wrote on his Instagram, “This week we're starting to roll out Meta Verified — a subscription service that lets you verify your account with a government ID, get a blue badge, get extra impersonation protection against accounts claiming to be you, and get direct access to customer support.”
Meta Verified Cost In India
Right now for India, Meta verified has opened its waitlist. As per reports, Meta verified in India is priced at Rs 1,099 per month if you subscribe through web. For Android and iOS apps, subscribing to Meta Verified will set you back Rs 1,450 a month.
Benefits of Verified Account
The Meta verified subscription entitles you to a verified badge. It also promises to protect your account to prevent impersonation attempts. Additionally, subscribers will have access to real customer support instead for a bot.
The subscription will also help out influencers as Meta claims that paying the monthly fees will increase your visibility and will also expand your reach. Your content will appear more frequently in people’s feeds, search results, and comments.
Users can now join in the waitlist to subscribe to the Meta Verified. Once approved, users should be notified to subscribe to Meta Verified. All you require is a Facebook or Instagram account with few posts, you must be at least 18 years of age, and applicants also need to provide a government ID which displays their name, age and photo which matches to their account.
