Since the online transaction platform allows users to pay directly from their bank accounts, it is here where the UPI Pin comes useful. 

Usually, a UPI Pin is set when a user first adds their bank account details in GPay. However, sometimes, due to various reasons, a user may want to change their UPI Pin as well. Here is a step-by-step guide on to change this pin for all the online transactions. 

How to change UPI Pin using GPay – Steps

  1. Go to the Google Pay/GPay app on your smartphone or device and land on the homepage.
  2. Now, tap on your photo in the upper right corner of the screen. 
  3. On the new screen, click on the bank account for which you want to change your UPI Pin. 
  4. Now, click on ‘More’ or the three dots given on your screen and change the UPI Pin.
  5. Create a new Pin and enter it again for confirmation.
  6. Your UPI Pin will now be changed via Google Pay. Use the new one now to make all transactions.
