The global crypto market sentiment was bearish on February 14, 2023. Except for Aave (AAVE), Bitcoin and other major alt coins, such as Binance (BNB), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL) fell.

The global cryptocurrency market capitalisation stood at $1.00 trillion at 1 pm IST, a decrease of 0.71 per cent from the previous day, according to coinmarketcap.com.

The total crypto market volume increased 29.04 per cent over the last 24 hours to $55.61 billion.

The top trending crypto was Bitcoin, but the top gainer for the day was Curve DAO Token (CRV), up by 12.94 per cent to $1.06, while the top loser was Zilliqa (ZIL), down by 9.96 per cent to $0.02852.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: The price of Bitcoin dipped by 0.38 per cent dip to $21,753. BTC had been in the red since 1 pm IST on February 13, 2023.

In two hours, its prices dipped from $21,821 to $21,544. Though it gradually recovered, its price remained highly volatile. The lowest price for BTC was $21,460. BTC’s trading volume was up by 14.06 per cent to $22.68 billion.

Ethereum: ETH’s price dipped by 0.49 per cent to $1,502.90. Ethereum had been trading in the red since 2.10 pm IST on Monday. Its trading volume levels surged from $6.53 billion to $8.04 billion in two hours. Prices of ETH was highly volatile.

The lowest price for ETH was $1,470. ETH’s trading volume was up by 29.88 per cent to $8.54 billion.

Other Altcoins 

Solana (SOL) was down by 0.49 per cent to $21.02.

In the 24-hour trading, Ripple’s (XRP) price fell 1.31 per cent to $0.3704, while its trading volume surged 38.84 per cent. 

Cardano (ADA) was down by 0.77 per cent to $0.3589. After a 17.67 per cent increase, its 24-hour trading volume reached $335 million.

Binance (BNB) dropped 3.47 per cent to $292.97. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 66.34 per cent to $1,181 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin fell 3.36 per cent to $0.08174 and its 24-hour trading volume dipped 29.78 per cent.

Shiba Inu was down by 3.35 per cent to $0.00001239.

Decentralised Finance (DeFi)

Yearn.Finance (YFI) fell 0.68 per cent even though its 24-hour trading volume rose by 12.67 per cent.

Avalanche (AVAX) fell 1.09 per cent to $17.54 and its 24-hour trading volume increased 14.38 per cent.

Aave (AAVE) was trading with a gain of 6.67 per cent at $81.86.
