The global crypto market rose by 0.84 per cent to $1.19 trillion in the last 24 hours to 12 am IST on Thursday, while the trading volume jumped 20.84 per cent to $52.71 billion.
Arbitrum ARB was the most trending cryptocurrency, which gained 8.73 per cent to $1.36. It was also the top gainer, with a 24-hour trading volume of $1.3 billion.
Conversely, Flare FLR was the top loser, down 8.64 per cent to $0.03788. Its 24-hour trading volume was $31,695,179.
The DeFi segment accounted for 11.83 per cent or $6.23 billion of the total trading volume in the crypto market in the last 24 hours, according to Coinmarketcap.com.
Cryptocurrency Prices
Bitcoin: Bitcoin’s price rose 1.99 per cent to $28,647.11. Its 24-hour trading volume was $22.9 billion. It is ranked number one, the same as yesterday, based on its market cap. Its dominance at 12 am IST was 46.63 per cent, down 0.53 per cent over the previous day.
Ethereum: The price of Ethereum was down by 0.42 per cent to $1,799.46, with a trading volume of $9.9 billion in the last 24 hours.
Tether: Tether traded flat at $0.9999, with a 24-hour trading volume of $35.7 billion. It was ranked third on Coinmarketcap.com.
Other Altcoins
Solana’s (SOL) price decreased by 1.08 per cent to $20.98 in the last 24 hours.
Avalanche was trading at $17.25, up by 0.35 per cent, while its 24-hour trading volume stood at $19,53,00,734 at 12 am IST.
Cardano (ADA) was down 0.58 per cent. It is ranked seventh on Coinmarketcap.com, with a 24-hour trading volume of $488 million.
Meme Coins
Dogecoin (DOGE) was down by 0.88 per cent with a 24-hour trading volume of $446 million.
Shiba Inu was down 1.51 per cent to $0.0000108 at 12 am IST.
Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
The total trading volume of DeFi was $6.23 billion, accounting for 11.83 per cent of the total trading volume of the crypto market in the last 24 hours.
Yearn.finance was up by 1.44 per cent to $8,881.95, while its market cap was $291 million.
