Crypto Prices Today: Bitcoin Up 1.18%, Ethereum Gains 3.41%

The global crypto market cap was at $1.18 trillion at 10 am IST on March 22, 2023, an increase of 1.71 per cent over the previous day, while the total crypto market volume over the last 24 hours was $67.29 billion, a decrease of 6.23 per cent.  

The total volume in DeFi was $5.23 billion, or 7.78 per cent of the total crypto market volume over the past 24 hours, while the volume of all Stablecoins was $61.43 billion at 10 am IST, which is 91.28 per cent of the total crypto market volume over the past 24 hours, according to Coinmarketcap.com.

Bitcoin (BTC) was the most trending cryptocurrency at 10 am IST on Wednesday morning with a price of $28,244.66, up by 1 per cent over the previous day.
 
XRP was the top gainer, with a 22.23 per cent increase to $0.4686. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.69 billion.

Stacks STX was the top loser, down by 8.84 per cent to $1.11. Its 24-hour trading volume was $36.53 million.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: The price of Bitcoin increased by 1.18 per cent to $28,258.03. Its 24-hour trading volume was $35.37 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap, same as of yesterday.  

Its dominance at 10 am IST was 46.12 per cent, an increase of 0.37 per cent over the previous day.

Ethereum: The price of Ethereum was up by 3.41 per cent to $1,806.86, with a trading volume of $10.83 billion in the last 24 hours.

Tether: Tether was up by 0.02 per cent in the last 24 hours. It was trading at $1, same as of yesterday with a 24-hour trading volume of $49.33 billion. It was ranked third on coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana’s (SOL) price decreased by 0.30 per cent to $22.46 in the last 24 hours.

Avalanche was trading at $17.41, up by 4.18 per cent, while its 24-hour trading volume stood at $196.49 million.

Cardano (ADA) was up by 11.63 per cent. It is ranked seventh, with a 24-hour trading volume of $784.83 million. 

Meme Coins

Dogecoin (DOGE) was up by 5.50 per cent with a 24-hour trading volume of $679.08 million.

Shiba Inu was up by 3.18 per cent to $0.00001094 at 10 IST.  

Decentralised Finance (DeFi)

DeFi was trading at $5.23 billion with an increase of 7.78 per cent of the total crypto market volume.  

Yearn.finance was up 3.49 per cent to $8,822.25 in the last 24 hours, while its 24 hour trading volume was $45.65 million.
