Crypto Prices Today: Bitcoin (BTC) Gains 0.23%, Ethereum (ETH) Rises 0.90%, Solana (SOL) Up 22.58%, SOL, BTC Most Trending

The cryptocurrency market on January 4 was trading in the green with most of the cryptocurrencies trading with gains. Most coins, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance (BNB) and Solana (SOL), were up.

 
The overall crypto market cap was up by 0.51 per cent to $809.40 billion and its trading volumew as down by 13.16 per cent to $26.82 billion, according to data from Coinmarketcap.com at 7 AM.

 
SOL was trending first in the list. BTC was at the second place in the trending cryptocurrency list, followed by PancakeSwap (CAKE).

SOL and BTC were also the top gainers, whereas the top losers were GMX (GMX) and OKB (OKB).

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: BTC was up by 0.23 per cent to $16,714.25. BTC’s trading volumes were up by 15.35 per cent at $14,025,490,232.

BTC was swinging between the range of $16,622.37 and $16,760.45 over the last 24 hours.

BTC was trending second and its dominance is currently 39.75 per cent, a decrease of 0.13 per cent over the day.

 
Binance: Binance (BNB) was trading with gains this morning. It was up by 0.51 per cent at $246.55 and trading in the range between $244.78 and $246.92.

BNB’s trading volumes were up by 12.99 per cent at 381,839,486.

Ethereum: Ethereum (ETH) was trading with gains, with 0.90 per cent at $1,224.39 in the last 24 hours to Wednesday morning. Ethereum was seen trading in losses until 4 AM.

Ethereum was swinging between the highs of $1,225.41 and lows of $1,207.49. Its trading volume level was down by 3.58 per cent at $3,595,777,624. 

Other Altcoins

SOL's price was up by 22.58 per cent at $13.66 today and its 24-hour trading volume was up at $1,285,835,769

Ripple (XRP) was up by 0.88 per cent at $0.3471 and its 24-hour trading volume was down by 26.42 per cent at $796,449,311.

Cardano (ADA) was up by 0.73 per cent to 0.2547. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume was up by 5.87 per cent to $161,202,713.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin (DOGE) was up by 0.20 per cent at $0.07148. Its 24-hour trading volume was down by 24.81 per cent at $294,239,096.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) was down by 0.15 per cent to $0.000008185.

Decentralised Finance (DeFi)

Yearn.Finance (YFI) was up by 1.43 per cent to $5,400.21. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 23.82 per cent at $21,433,793.

Avalanche (AVAX) was up by 0.94 per cent at $53.33 and its 24-hour trading volume was down by  16.66 per cent at $33,657,252.

Aave (AAVE) was up by 3.89 per cent at $11.54. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 31.15 per cent to $167,727,419.
