The crypto market on February 6 was trading in red, with many altcoins trading in losses. Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance (BNB), Aave (AAVE) and Solana (SOL) were losing.
The crypto market cap fell about 2.18 per cent to $1.06 trillion and its trading volume was up by 26.77 per cent to $48.73 billion , according to data from Coinmarketcap.com at 11.00 am.
Today’s top gainer was SingularityNET (AGIX); it was up 20.31 per cent at $0.4082. The top loser was Aptos (APT), which was trading at $14.63 with a loss of 11.62 per cent in the last 24 hours to Saturday morning.
Cryptocurrency Prices
Bitcoin: BTC fell 2.21 per cent to $22,750.95. BTC’s trade on February 4 was highly volatile with its price trading in a narrow and confined range between $22,900 to $22,744. At around 6.05 pm on February 5, BTC experienced a sudden dip in price that lasted for half an hour. Since then, prices were in red.
The lowest price for BTC was $22,734.48. BTC’s trading volume was up by 30.94 per cent at $20,429,031,997.
Ethereum: Ethereum’s (ETH) price dipped 2.54 per cent to $1,618.34 in the last 24 hours to Monday morning.
ETH was also experiencing a volatile trade same as BTC. Around 6 pm on February 3 prices rose rapidly. ETH’s price slumped from $1,663 to $1,645 within forty minutes. Its trading volume levels surged from 5.83 billion to 7.04 billion.
The lowest price for ETH was $1,616.30. ETH’s trading volume was up by 18.1 per cent at $7,041,638,923.
Other Altcoins: Solana’s (SOL) price was down by 5.45 per cent at $23.04 today.
Ripple (XRP) was down by 3.02 per cent at $0.3973 and its 24-hour trading volume was $867,815,985.
Cardano (ADA) was down by 2.08 per cent to $0.3902. Cardano’s 24-hour trading volume was up by 38.94 per cent to $369,330,535.
Binance (BNB) was down by 2.71 per cent to $323.19. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 44.37 per cent at $665,754,070.
Meme Coins
Dogecoin fell 3.87% per cent at $0.09153. Its 24-hour trading volume was down by 31.29 per cent at $690,071,206.
Shiba Inu was down by 4.05% per cent to $0.00001443.
Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
Yearn.Finance (YFI) was down by 3.35 per cent to $7,523.13. Its 24-hour trading volume was up by 18.04 per cent at $27,752,499.
Avalanche (AVAX) was down by 5.94 per cent at $19.79 and its 24-hour trading volume was up by 29.08 per cent at $334,807,941.
Aave (AAVE) was trading with a loss of 4.41 per cent at $ 84.91 and its 24-hour trading volume was at $73,737,407.
