Apple Music Classical app is now reportedly available for Android devices on Google Play Store. As per updates, Apple has made this available for free on Google Play Store even before iPad and Mac devices.
Android users can now access Apple Music Classical app through the Apple Music subscription. However, it must be noted that Android users in China, Japan, Korea, Russia and Taiwan still can’t access and only those with Android 9 and above can download the app for free.
However, as per media reports, the Apple Music Classical for Android is only expected to be free for some time and most likely till WWDC 2023 developer conference. After the conference, once new products are rolled out, this may not be free.
Regarding the app, Apple said (in March), “Apple Music Classical is a dedicated app that is great for classical experts as well as anyone who is new to classical, with the largest classical music selection in the world, the very best search and browsing capabilities, the most premium sound experience with Spatial Audio, and thousands of exclusive recordings.”
Apple Music Classical app was launched by the iPhone maker in March 2023. While the app was immediately available for iPhone users, Android devices (except some countries) had to wait till today for the app.
As far as WWDC 2023, it will be held from June 5 to 9, 2023 and as per reports, invites have seen sent to select media.
