Investors Interested In Bitcoin, Big Eyes Coin, And Solana Should Not Be Deterred By FTX Scandal

Investors can look to established coins like Bitcoin (BTC) and Solana (SOL), and even up-and-coming projects like Big Eyes Coin (BIG), to see what is desirable when choosing to invest in a cryptocurrency.

Sam Bankman-Fried has forced us all to reconsider crypto regulation.

The good news? It was nothing short of a learning experience, especially for those who lost millions of dollars. And FTX’s now apparent red flags won’t be ignored again by investors.

Investors can look to established coins like Bitcoin (BTC) and Solana (SOL), and even up-and-coming projects like Big Eyes Coin (BIG), to see what is desirable when choosing to invest in a cryptocurrency.

Who’s auditing?

Solidity Finance has secured over $50B in on-chain value across over 1500 projects. In the crypto community, Solidity Finance is a reputable and trusted company.

Solidity Finance also partners with KYC Capital, and BIG has been KYC verified on CoinSniper. This means that Big Eyes has had to verify its identity and has successfully secured a tier 1 centralized exchange (CEX).

In the case of FTX, their auditors were so small that the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) only inspected them once every three years. What’s more, FTX had two different auditors for its U.S. operations and for its offshore operations. Ultimately, neither auditor had a complete picture of what was going on with FTX.

This was definitely one of FTX’s red flags that should’ve set off an alarm in the minds of investors, but it was the lack of regulation that allowed the company to take these risks without repercussions.

Who’s Profiting? And What Does Big Eyes Coin Offer?

Investing in crypto can be rewarding and beneficial on its own, but BIG gives you one more reason to invest: charity.

BIG’s mascot is a big-eyed cat whose mission is to make the ocean safe for fish. In the past, the crypto market has been scrutinized for its contribution to pollution; the blockchain technology under which it operates uses a significant amount of energy. So, Big Eyes is listening, and looking to the future.

Big Eyes has raised $17.5 million in its presale, and it has the potential to grow exponentially in 2023. Once BIG goes live, 90 percent of the tokens will go to the community, and 10 percent will be split between marketing and charity wallet. This 5 percent dedicated to charity will also help with future donations.

Solana is another coin that has clearly been listening to the crypto critics. SOL has recently reduced its carbon footprint by adopting a consensus that combines Proof-of-Stake (PoS) and Proof-of-History (PoH).

Similarly, Big Eyes is built on the Ethereum (ETH) network, which means that it now operates under a PoS consensus, ultimately reducing its carbon footprint by over 99 percent.

In terms of FTX’s environmental contributions, the best thing it did for the environment was going bankrupt.

Will regulation help us or hurt us?

Cryptocurrency is decentralized by nature; that’s part of the appeal. Part of the reason it’s possible to create and develop coins like BIG is that there’s so much freedom in the crypto space.

If cryptocurrency and the blockchain were to be regulated, investing would become safer, especially with more uncertain blockchain elements like Decentralized Finance (DeFi). In addition, this safety will be an incentive for first-time investors, providing a sense of security and ultimately making cryptocurrency more accessible.

For BIG investors, the regulation conversation shouldn’t be worrisome. A safer crypto market will lead to public confidence, and that will lead to increased prices for Big Eyes.
