The navaratra fever has gripped the nation and in Gujrat, Garba and Dandiya is happening everywhere. The enthusiasm of the navatri is well understood. But in an outrageous incident, the staff members of Sola Civil hospital in Ahmedabad were seen performing Garba in the ICU in front of sick and ailing patients.
This incident happened shortly after Gujarat Finance, Medical Education, and Health and Family Welfare Minister Nitinbhai Patel visited the hospital and inaugurated a new dialysis centre. The staff was playing loud music and dancing on Garba tunes, flouting all hospital rules and causing discomfort to the patients. In the ICU where even mobiles are not permitted, the staff of this hospital was seen dancing to loud music. What's more, ICU a place where utmost hygiene is maintained, the staff was seen dancing with their slippers and shoes on.
The hospital administration is now sending notices to everyone who was present there for the event.
