Also, an FIR against Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar has already been registered.

According to a police official, two assistant police inspector (API)-rank officers and 8-10 constables will take care of Salman's security detail around the clock. Moreover, his fans will not be allowed to assemble outside his residence-office in Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, as reported by news agency PTI.

On Saturday, the Bandra police had registered an FIR against three persons – Lawrence, Goldy, and a third person named Rohit, as all of them allegedly sent a threat email to Salman's office. The FIR was registered after a police complaint lodged by Prashant Gunjalkar, who reportedly pays visits to the Bandra-based residence of Salman.

When Prashant, who runs an artist management company, was present in Salman's office on Saturday afternoon, he got hold of an email that had come from the ID – Rohit Garg, the official said quoting the FIR. It mentioned that Salman must have seen the interview given recently to a news channel by Lawrence, and if not, he should see it. The email also mentioned that if Salman wants to close the matter, he should talk face-to-face with Goldy, stating “there is still time but agli bar, jhatka dekhne ko milega (next time he will receive shock)”.
