A 25-year old man belonging to Ghazipur district was arrested for uploading an 'objectionable' picture of newly appointed Chief Minister of UP, Yogi Adityahath on Facebook.

A report by the Hindustan Times said that Badshah Abdul Razak had made a fake account on the social networking site to upload the picture, which was circulated online.

After the Hindu Yuva Vahini, a youth outfit founded by Adityanath gathered in protest, the  District magistrate and senior police officers had to rush to the neighbourhood and arrest him, added the report.

Yogi Adityanath, the head priest of Gorakhnath temple was sworn in as the 21st Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday after the BJP won a massive majority in the state, leaving behind the previous government of Samajwadi Party with 47 seats and the once powerful BSP with just 19 seats.

His elevation to the post of the Chief Minister in the biggest state in the country raised many eyebrows, owing to his unapologetic stance on muslims and Pakistan. He has also been accused of involvement in quite a few communal incidents in the past, but  wields considerable influence among the Hindu hardliners.
