Hyderabad, Jul 31 (PTI) North Korea coach Jo Tong Sop today picked India as their likely opponent in the final and said the hosts could come in the way of their quest for winning the AFC Challenge Cup here and qualify for the 2011 Asian Cup in Doha.

The winner of the second edition of the AFC Challenge Cup, the continent's second tier inter-nation competition, will automatically qualify for 2011 Asian Cup and North Korea, who have already reached the final qualifying round of the 2010 World Cup, are also gunning for a place in the Asian Cup.

"We are just one step away from qualifying for 2010 World Cup and we would be happy if we reach the Asian Cup also. India would be the toughest opponent as they are the hosts and they have a good attacking formation," said Jo Tong at the post-match press conference after outplaying Sri Lanka in their opening match of the eight-nation tournament here.

North Korea are 60 places above India at 94th in the latest FIFA rankings but they had come here with a second-string team with their first team training for the final qualifying round matches of the 2010 World Cup in September.
