Mamata Using Language of the Underworld: CPI-M
send via whatsapp
The CPI(M) today criticised West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for allegedly using words which it claimed was language of the underworld.

"The words she has used in response to the criticism by the opposition, the press or even her well wishers, the chief minister in her address to Bengal Builds – I don't know if she is building Bengal or breaking Bengal – the thing is that she has spoken in the language common to the underworld," CPI(M) Politburo member Surya Kanta Mishra told newspersons here.

The chief minister, while addressing a meeting here, said "no one can deter me in serving the people, raja chale bazaar to kutta bhoke hazaar (when king goes to the market thousands of dogs bark)."

Referring to this comment, Mishra said, "that means all of us. Not only opposition. Whether it is media or villagers in Junglemahal, anybody who criticises the government. I have no language to condemn the language she has used. I have no language to register my protest."
