A day after BJP moved the Election Commission against the UPA's direct cash transfer scheme, NDA constituent Janata Party today threatened to approach court terming the scheme as "unconstitutional."

Addressing party convention, its chief Subramanian Swamy said the whole issue smells of another scandal and it is something one should oppose.

"This is an unconstitutional measure. Since BJP has said they are going to take it up in Parliament, I will wait. But if there is no resolution, I will go to court on the matter," he said.

The UPA government has come up with a policy decision to offer the direct cash transfer scheme for subsidies and entitlements based on the Aadhar cards scheme.

Swamy also said his party is planning to field candidates in the Delhi Assembly elections scheduled next year.

On Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Admi Party, he said, "Unlike other parties, his party acts on the issue of corruption.

This is another way of bribing people. Where is the surety it will go to every one eligible? Therewas a report sometime ago that names of dead persons were included in one list for voting and the same was deleted after the election was over. In case of thirumangalam elction, voters were given chits to go and collect jewellery  which cannot be proved as an act of bribery in election. In 2008 budget provision was made for 68000 crores for alleviating the povety problem of farmers but that has not stopped the number of suicides. The acts of government are without studying the negative effects of their measures and they end up in flop. The food for work, some schemes are described as "grand success"  but they had negative effects which is suppressed.

I think Dr. Swami is "Despot"; he obstructs every thing.  This one man band party man has divorced himself of common sense.  How people elect these "despots" as leaders is unthinkable?  How he became a "Dr." is also questionable?
