The incident occurred late last night when Sanjay (40) returned home in an inebriated condition and raped his mother, Superintendent of Police West Harish Chandra said.

After the alleged incident took place, the victim raised an alarm following which the neighbours rushed in and rescued her by locking the accused, he said.

The accused was arrested after his sister lodged an FIR against him, the SP said, adding the victim has been sent for medical examination.

Now what he is going to say when the popular 'Gali' is hurled at him?  He might say 'Thanks'.

Strange ,very strange. It perplexes badly just to imagine- how could she (mother ) not have resisted and stopped said son from raping her even when he was drunk and might just not be in full senses. She could have very easily slapped and pushed him with her full might to defend hereself from being molested.
