>> You were born in the wrong country
You want him also to kill Hindus?
>> but shameless individuals exist in both communities.
But why do they occur so much more among Muslims?
Your suggestions are not practical.
When religion was the basis of creating a separate nation state, Pakistan cannot suddenly turn its back to religion. And once you declare yourself as an Islamic state , there is no way you can discard the doctrines of Islam.
As you have said in the past, it is not possible to revise the content of the scriptures. But these scriptures actually provide a lesser role to the minorities. Can you for example, delete the portions of the texts related to Kafirs? Since you cannot, if a Muslim persecutes or tries to convert Kafirs, how is he un-Islamic in his approach?
Minorities will be persecuted in all Islamic states unless certain parts of the texts are either omitted ( is it possible?) or explained differently ( very difficult to convince ordinary folks that Jehad is a spiritual journey and not aggression over non-believers).
>> "Jihad is driven by hate-not love."
How come you are so ignorant? Jihad may mean either war against one's own inner baseness or it can mean war to protect one's faith against attackers. Neither meaning carries a connotation of hate. By the way I advise Muslims to discard this word because its use has been completely perverted.
For the bottomline is this: the BJP and RSS sit uneasy with any peace move towards Pakistan.... Saba
Terrorism and peace are opposite to each other. Pakistan army and their government has opposite targets towards India and hence it is useless to talk to them. After all, BJP does not have any compulsion like Congress, the minority vote bank. It is India's way, or the Highway, as one Pakistani columnist suggested.
''Vladimir Modi is setting new rules of engagement.'' Saba
'' Today, 18 May 2014, may well go down in history as the day when Britain finally left India. Narendra Modi's victory in the elections marks the end of a long era in which the structures of power did not differ greatly from those through which Britain ruled the subcontinent. India under the Congress party was in many ways a continuation of the British Raj by other means. The last of midnight's children are now a dwindling handful of almost 70-year-olds, but it is not the passing of the independence generation that makes the difference.
The India those men and women lived in was one that, like its predecessor, was centralised, garrisoned, culturally constricted, and ruled by a relatively small English-speaking elite whose attitude toward the masses was alternately benevolent and exploitative but never inclusive. Universal suffrage gave Indians a vote but not, at least for much of the time, a voice. When that voice was occasionally heard, as it was in 1977 in the elections that followed the disastrously unpopular Emergency declared by prime minister Indira Gandhi, there could be a sudden sense of its almost volcanic capacity to remake the political landscape, but such moments were rare.
Now that voice has been heard again. It has endorsed a new kind of leader in the shape of Mr Modi. He is from the lower castes. He is not a natural English speaker. He has no truck with the secular and socialist traditions that shaped Congress. But, more important, that voice has announced a new kind of India. In the old India the poor were there to be helped, when the elite remembered to do so or when they needed to seek or, in effect, to buy votes. The middling classes were taken for granted and sometimes snubbed. The new India, most observers agree, is not interested in handouts, and refuses to be snubbed. ''
GUARDIAN EDITORIAL 18th May, 2014
>> "I personally know quite a few cases where hindu girls were converted to Islam-after making the initial promise that the girl need not convert."
Such husbands should be ashamed of themselves, but shameless individuals exist in both communities. I wait for the day when our maulanas declare that mixed marriages do not require conversion. Asking a wife to convert shows neither respect nor love for her.
>> Anwaar might say - "Those who indulge in Love-Jihad are not real muslims".
Anwaar says that Love Jihad is the malicious invention of RSS/VHP promoters of hate.
Can we exchange Kashmiris for the minorities in Pak? Seems like a good trade for everyone. AKASH VERMA CHENNAI, INDIA
Akash, can we add Anwaar in that list, please?
A shocking story in today's Daily Mail
>>>> "Why do you concoct such mlicious stories? Is lying a requirement of all hate pracharaks"
>> "Jehadis like you are braind-dead."
Typical response from a communalist foul-mouth!
>>>> "You are a shameless liar"
>> "I did not expect anything else from you."
That's one more lie!
>> "I have a become a fan of Yogi Adityanath. His call to convert 100 muslim girls for every hindu girl was classic."
Both Adityanath and you exhibit Pakistani traits! You were born in the wrong country.
Bizarre story but it is not Love Jihad!
> "Shah said the integrity of all ministers is beyond doubt."
A certificate of integrity from Amit Shah? That's a joke!
Nothing is going to happen to Pakistan when Hindus, Sikhs, Ahmedi and Shia population is destroyed. Only hope is when Christian population is widely affected, some possibility that the Christian world may do something. Hope Iran do something for Shia. So far, though nothing.
Note this story is carried only in web section.
The genocide of Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan is complete. There is nnothing left to save or salvage. From 22% of population in 1947 to 1% now. The Congress government of India, was directly complicit in that genocide by keeping quiet and looking the other way as muslims in Pakistan annhilated the Hindus and Sikhs.
Ms.Tavleen Singh told this in the Indian Express last Sunday. She did not name one, but she said the son was scorned by the PM. If this is true, it is good sign.
And then some Indian muslim commentrators like Javed Naqvi, Mr.Noorani, Saba Naqvi, and Aijaj Syed from Dubai, gives their sermons to Hindus every week how the minorities should be treated. They are also more worried why Kashmiris are not getting their independence.
BJP must arrest the down slide at this level, otherwise they will look like congress in a very short time.
How about this idea:
Put up 'idea boxes',( to create the illusion that this government is genuinely interested in the ideas of its people), but carry on its ingenious ways of looting the people anyways?
