Okay. Henceforth, all civil servants and perhaps all people who are in service of Government of India, when they appear in public domain, in India or outside, should chant the below, minimum once a day:
* Jai Jai Jawaharlal Nehruji, Discoverer of India..
* Jai Jai Bharat Mata Indira Gandhi ..
* Jai Jai Jai Mera Bharat Mahan Mahatma Rajiv Gandhi
* Jai Jai Jai Saint Sonia, Savior of India
* Jai Jai Jai Jai Rahul Baba, the leader of 21st century India.
This chanting should be compulsory. If they dont chant, what punishment can we give?
Maybe 21 lashes in public?
Maybe cut the tongue?
Maybe shave the head in public and tatoo the shaven head with flag of Congress party?
Your choice pls...
People talk about a level playing field, in society. Is there a level playing field, and also competition? I mean, if a man became as rich as Mr. Ambani, as a competitor, in association with him, then would you say, he was fair, or unfair, with Mr. Ambani in business association? Similarly, how is Mr. Ambani fair in competition with a person who cannot avail his resources? What kind of canard is this, what falsehood? People don't tell other people things they do not believe, they tell themselves.
A husband and wife might like each other for no interest, mutual to themselves. They will, however, make the other meddle in the self's interest, and mutual misunderstanding will crop up. What kind of horrible social interaction is this? There is no interest, why I might like another person, and then, there might be no interest, why I don't. People have made this not a society free, but fettered, if not in chains of bondage.
It also seems, people who don't pursue particular commercial interests, feel, that no one wants to interact with them socially, and no one might marry them. People even around them, feel bad, that what makes people interested in others, in modern India, does not make such people interesting to others. Religion, for instance is not really relevant, and really, I feel, society is totally irrelevant, if society is supposed to be, how people can be equal in income, and materialism. How can one make out what the interests of a person are, if income is equal, and you are supposed to interact with people, as everyone is supposed to be equal because of income? Indians are totally for this kind of interaction, because they want new ideas, not to appreciate in others as the reason. People can be materialistic and happy, and it seems every Indian can be, but people can be coerced by other people, if they are not like them. The majority of a society gives reasons not criminal, as why people are not pro them in society, because in society, such people are supposed to feel bad. The reason why the Dalit, and the Brahmin is supposed to be unfortunate, if they are not materially prosperous, according to others, is obvious.
The middle class acts against itself, because of economic and material considerations. Politics is about economics, and materialism. The BJP says that dynasty must not be in politics. They believe that humanity is descended from God. The reason why a person could rule from a community, is because that person was generally liked in that community, and that community was seen to represent other communities. Today, the middle class has people like Mr. Togadia, Mr. Mohan Bhagwat, and because they are not particularly commercial in economic transactions, they, along with others were made to feel, they are not really what matters in social interaction. The Congress must see, that the middle class is a commercial social distinction, and they are really more important to the govt., than Mr. Ambani, and other such distinctive people. People like Mr. Ambani are very small in number, in the world. The middle class sees itself as privileged, and also feel that they are the only people who matter, who pay taxes, which is completely true. They actually feel, why don't others pay more taxes, when the whole economy is supposed to be middle class. These people feel, education, and money make them privileged, and because they see more and more of themselves, it doesn't matter that Mr. Tata, Mr. Ambani exist, and importantly, it doesn't make them feel bad, that they aren't as rich as them, not that it should.
People aren't perhaps satisfied in the middle class, because interaction is between people with similar material standing, and a person might be disaffected with people they interact with, and might not even care for it. People who don't belong to the middle class, nonetheless, are not supposed to be society, whether he be Mr. Ambani, or anyone not having the material wealth of standing to the middle class. What kind of social interactive mess have we made? Every political faction, whether they are supposed to represent Communist interests, religious interests, social interests, are divided in society, and this is why politics is. Examples of such religious, social and communist parties don't need to be given, though Congress is a social party.
Vinod Rai has no right to speak against the GOI in a foreign land.
Vinod Rai was delivering a academic lecture in an Unversity where hundreds of Indian students study & dozens of Indian academics teaches. Besides the venue being in India or in foreign land has absolutely nothing to do with substance of the lecture in an academic seminary.
He is an unelected civil servant who seems to have a political agenda.
Since when unelected persons are debarred from giving lectures in colleges , universities , business chambers , private gathering of like minded associations etc.? Indian civil servants do it every day.
He wants to carve out a bigger role for CAG than is envisaged in the Constitution or statutes.
The staement is unfounded in facts. But let it be said that if a 'bigger role for CAG' is in interest of better, cleaner governance , so be it.
2-D/3 ///Vinod Rai has no right to speak against the GOI in a foreign land/// Yes, I do agree! But then, only a sitting SC judge (min) can speak all that nonsense on a foreign land? What action did UPA take against him? Not even (the President) warned him. It is a precedence made by him. Vinod Rai is only a follower.
The term 'crony capitalism' is misleading. What does it mean? People like Mr. Mistry, Mr. Ambani, are single people, and they are not many, even in the globe. The middle class is the most important class. They need to consume appropriately, as they produce what is also consumed, by controlling the production, more than the main shareholders of big business.
Businesses don't need a free situation to run. With technological improvements, businesses can run efficiently. It appears, that the environment is so free, that business interests are interlinked, and this might cause production to be over or under utilised in different sectors. The small business sector should be encouraged, and other small economic sectors should also be.
Wow! That is indeed commendable. I hope hus vision sees the light of day, someday.
