His late father’s welfare schemes have earned him some default sympathy and goodwill, and his being Christian gets him some community support. The largeky unnoticed point in AP is Sonia losing control of her party. Nobody in AP Cpngress listens to her anymore. Telengana region is all gone for Congress. And even in AP proper, Congressmen do not follow the commands from the High.
Sonia can afford indiscipline in one state but if this trends continues to other states, the dynasty will be in big trouble.
Congress is a status quo party. There's some peculiar indecisiveness in Congress party on all the issues. At the end, it is the congress that loses the most due to its reluctance to act. It happened in Babri Masjid, in corruption cases, and it is the same that is happening in Telangana. Congress tally will be reduced if Telangana is created but if Congress continues to show its impotency, then the party will be wiped out in Andhra. The sad part for Congress is that Viagra doesn't make a female a male.
Congress will become irrelevant in the next election for sure

Samuel Reddy's (YSR) legacy- Christian evangelists setting camp in Tirumala hills(near Tirupathi temple) and openly distributing christian literature to devotees- All under goverment protection and overseen by YSRs son in law tele evangelist Anil Kumar. And of course he had a very timely death. Enough said.
