Dear Editor, Apropos ‘non-playing captain?’ Rahul can’t be compared with Modi. In Bihar, what Rahul achieved? In U P, everyone knows that the Congress can achieve third place at the most. Then all the party man will clap. On the other hand Modi is an achiever. He is in his place not because he is born in a particular family. Mr. Mishra, your statement ‘in a democracy, the arena is potentially open to all’ has no relevance for India, unfortunately.

The real comparison between Modi and Rahul would be seen on the ground of administration, of which Narender modi needs no one,s certificate, while rahul Gandhi shys away from taking any responsibility for the fear of being exposed.Modi tomorrow if could become president it owuld be of his hard work as an administrator of Gujarat despite all critic Brigade, 24x7 after him, mesuring his each step.from morning loo to night sleep.
Mr. Mishra is just another one pseudo journalist, from that ANTI MODI Rant brigade, who is hired by outlook to right only and only against modi and right wing politics of India.
Neelabh, why don't you also highlight the advantage Rahul has in UP. Whatever the outcome of the elections, Congress' fortune can only improve.
Well Well Well... Here comes our perpetual resident Dynasty Supporter Neelabh Mishra and his pearls of wisdom .But may I point out some critical differences btw Modi and Rahul?
* Rahul is a unemployed man, who is just living out of his family legacy and nothing else.Modi ,good or bad is Chief Minister of India's most enterprising and industrial power house state Gujarat and he has a job to do .
* The above point means that Modi's time is valuable. Modi is responsible and answerable to 60 million people, unlike Rahul who is answerable to just 3 people - His Mummy, His big sister and his brother In Law ( i am including only those people in the family who are adults)
* Rahul is a man born with silver spoon on day one. He was gifted with a legacy. Even if Congress gets say 90 Lok Sabha seats in 2014 polls,Rahul will be the unquestioned inheritor of this legacy .Modi was born an ordinary man and earnt his position and post and fights to retain the same, every five years . So there is a world of difference btw the two
FootNote - And just to add to those who point about Gujarat Riots and the 2000 Dead... No denying that is a blot on Modi's legacy. But then the same number of Sikhs died in Nov 1984, in Union Territory of Delhi which was ruled by Rajiv Gandhi, the same man who said "Earth shakes when big tree falls" . And under the same leader called Rajiv Gandhi, Bhopal tragedy happened and the CEO Warren Anderson escaped the country right under the nose of Rajiv . And not to speak about the Bush like adventure that Rajiv regrime undertook, by sending IPKF to Sri Lanka ,thereby leading to so many dead Eelam tamils and so many Indian soliders injured or dead.. all absolutely unwanted so all this did not prevent us from making Rajiv as a PM and worshipping him as a martyr right ?
LokSabha elections are 2 years away and Modi has a govt to run.
Modi has a decade long track record - while Clown Prince has just his surname, a few free meals at Dalits houses, a couple of short travel on local train and a 'discovery India' trips to meet college students as YC President. His track record as an MP is dismal to say the least.
Also Rahul Baba has to get a better result than the last Bihar elections where his charisma and 'hardwork' got a mere 3 seats.
Clown Prince still has to prove he has what it takes to head the family run Congress to the people while Modi's development (for all) of Gujarat inspite of a spiteful Congress Govt at center is there for all to see and form a decision.
