Bradman Oration COMMENTS
'One of the things, Bradman said has stayed in my mind. That the finest of athletes had, along with skill, a few more essential qualities: to conduct their life with dignity, with integrity, with courage and modesty. All this he believed, were totally compatible with pride, ambition, determination and competitiveness'

Superb stuff. Proves once again why he is such a hero! Thank you for publishing it. Why is this not being covered more prominently. Our members of Parliament should be made to read this. Makes one proud to be an Indian -- and know that he is one too.

It is often said that sportsmen cannot give inspiring speeches. Well, Rahul Dravid just proved them all wrong! This speech is a masterpiece, a few grammatical errors notwithstanding. It only shows how much of a thinking cricketeer Dravid is. The only other Indian cricketeer who could give a speech like this in my opinion, is Saurav Ganguly. Well done Rahul Dravid!

Slow and boring stuff with endless content that could have been packed in three paragraphs....

But, there is one thing I firmly believe in: Indian cricket is yet to produce a bigger gentleman and a better mascot of the game than Rahul Dravid.

Personally, I think Dravid is a better batsman than Sachin (no offences meant). So, it was great to see him getting the honor to deliver the oration.
