The French Burqa Ban COMMENTS
Though the French brand of in-your-face secularism may come under criticism by both Muslims and Western liberals, the country’s experience holds valuable lessons for the rest of the world

Burqa is a relic of traditional Islam even more than a symbol of radical Islam. It should be a thing of the past by now. It makes the wearer look ridiculous and reduces her ability to be a full participant in societal affairs. While I support a woman's right to choose her dress, any woman who insists on wearing a burqa in this day and age is knowingly or unknowingly perpetuating subservience.

1.Not only Clergy but even many many educated Muslims insist for Burqa .The trend towards Wahbi Islam is rapidly increasing among the new Muslim generation.Jehad is considered a fashoin now.The seminaies in Pakistan have become hardline Islam nurseries. We regularly see USA/ UK borne and muslim citizens come to Pakistan to be trained as Soldiers of Jehad.USA and UK the patrons of Pakistan received the brutal kocks on 9/11 and London Train bombings. The perpetrators were financed and trained by ISI.
India is facing the similar problems.

Wearing Burqa these days is not the ritual of Islamic tradition but is the demonstrative symbol of hardliner Islam .Not only France or West or in India the Burqa is now worne as a sysmbol of defiance .

But defiance of what that even the Clergy and wearers don't know !

Indian Muslims under influence of Deobnd Clergy are some what strict for wearing of Burqa by their females. In Pakistan Burqa is must specially in areas under control of Talbans .At least Bangladesh is leading the way to free women from Burqa a sign of Male domination.

'A secular charge, led by judiciary

The State must not seen to be favouring any particular religion, rather, ensure protection to the followers of all faiths without any discrimination,” the court observed.

The court said it saw Huq’s predicament as a growing trend of the attempts in recent years “to force women into this practice not only at an individual level but also in public offices”. “The case in hand is evidence of violations of the rights of women and girls in public spaces, schools, educational institutions and places of public and private education,” it said, directing the Ministry of Education to ensure no woman working in public and private educational institutions is forced to wear veils.'

Well who says Bangladesh is an backward Nation rather it is far ahead than even India the Secular Nation.India is not in a position to tame Clergy .

The burka uproar By Shada

I suppose I should be angry at the legislation on banning the burka adopted recently by the Belgian parliament’s lower house. But the truth is: I am not — and neither is a majority of European Muslims who see the subject as a distraction from the key challenge of economic, political and social integration facing the continent’s 20 million Muslims. even so called modern muslims defend the burqa-which isolates women like caged birds- and muslim skull caps,
beards, the thigh high pyjamas.

they are all for typical muslim taboos such as halal meat,
no drinking, no mixing of sexes, and a horde of other insane
features of islam.

whilst they defend these absurdities they hit out at nonmuslims and few muslims who would dump these lunatic
values.

the muslim middleclass and elite is as obsessed with their
religion as the others. in fact they provide the brains for
the less educated jehadis.

you can read lord nizam member of the house of lords, britain
talking like a typical muslim .

i think that only a rejection of islam at least in nonmuslim
countries will bring forth a rapporte with others. islam
and liberalism, modernity are opposite poles of thinking.

all the talk about building bridges is wishful thinking.
a pipe dream which has proven a failure since the times of
the crusades.

why should we try for something which has not worked since
the birth of islam. the prophet himself wished that all
believers should live in darul islam. muslims should listen
to him in this important matter.

jinnah also woked for pakistan the land of the pure. in theory all musims in india were entitled to a home in pakistan. this did not happen beause jinnah compromised.
he allowed most of the poor, backward muslims to be left
behind in india. there was no room for them in the bus,
and none later.by doing this he let down his own muslim brethern. many would wish to live in a islamic state.
saudi arabia, the gulf states are the subject of their dreams. however none are willing to give them citizenship,
or even permanent residence.

instead these poor people have to learn to live in a secular
india to which they are opposed to.their solution is to isolate themselves in different muslim settlements. these
are min pakistans, just like in many european countries.
