This statistics should be used to find out what makes brahmins tick. One aspect is education. Brahmin parents will give their lifeblood to educate children. Only recently, other communities have learnt to value education.

The sad part is so many of the leftist hypocrites are Brahmins and as a Brahmin, I think, we owe an apology to this nation. Leftists have no scruples and are masters of double speak. They sell you leftist agenda even while amassing huge properties for their kith and kin. Let this country be rid of leftist people!

I am a Brahmin myself but I hate this kind of articles...casteism in whichever form is the bane of Indian society and this will be a sureshot nation breaking phenomenon. The sad thing is everybody talks about caste and there will be some parochial elements who will beat their chest bragging about the Brahmin power and such. The only weapon we need is quality education and the politics of caste can go to hell!

This is good data, showing proportional of Brahmins in the government organs.
Legislature: 7%
Judiciary: 40%

Now we need to get following data to make it complete
Executive (including all-powerful civil servents): ??
Press/media (4th arm of state): ??

Brahmins are contineously suppressed by all Governments. The old reservation system was for 10 years but that went up to more than 60 years.Brahmins were always peace loving, petriotic. In History we can find Brahmins were suffered a lot by Mugolos,British because they felt Brahmins are the backbone of Indian culture, inteligent. They felt Brahmins know every evil wish they dream. So they should treted equally otherwise they may react like other community which will add fuel to fire on current National situation.

Other communities who ridiculed brahmin for their faith and culture now follow exactly the brahmin way. History says jaisalmer was once a brhamin business community which was vanquished twice and now no grass grows there.

People in this community have broken their own cord instead of strengthening their own community. They say enemy within oneself is more dangerous.

After all they did not harm other communities like what has been happening in free India, in the name of minority appeasement.

It is in the brink, I wish and pray some one Adi Shankara or Chanakya emerge to preserve this beautiful community from extinction.

The reduction in Brahmin MPs had to happen over time and will probably continue until their number is more in proportions with their population. I am not a Brahmin but I feel the demonisation of brahmins is uncalled for. The power dynamic amongst castes is changing in the country and much of the oppression of dalits is carried out by other castes which are more landed.

The reduction in number of brahmins in public life (i.e politics/ judiciary etc) is directly proportional to the rise in corruption.

Extremely BITTER to swallow this Truth! Come on non-brahmins, start shooting...

In the present anti-Brahmanism of the vested interests in India and those politicians for vote bank politics usurping Brahmans capability and wisdom to be used for the betterment of the country Brahmans highest patriotism taken for granted simply to eradicate them.

The poor Brahmans are routed out and left to the mercy of the nature. Many Brahman famlies have lost their roots and heritage for being so much love of their mother country by accepting all injustice meted out to them in the name of twisted fraudulent history created by those British who ruled India to divide and rule India besides to eradicate the Vedic culture from India

But.true history with sincere study only indicates Brahmans sacrifices and wisdom for the country existed always in the case of need and in adverse conditons. But,everything buried under the soil now. Those who killed historically civililians and raped women in the name of imposing their religion with unimaginable bloodshed given more rights and voice in our political system.

India is like this only!Little chance to change!

Those wishing Brahmans, if not all should organise and migrate to other countries such as Germany where influential Brahmans should talk to that country whom definitely help to accomplish to the migation of willing Brahmans atlesat. This they should do to safegurad their lofty community.Great sacrices are the need of the hour! This is very high time!

They should live there with more cohesive nature as a family with absolute unity and appropiate rules should be created by the elders of the community for this

This way atleast Brahman community which is living thousands and thousands of years would be safeguarded from peril created in India to root out them completely

This is the need of the hour!

Every community has the right to safegurad their heritage and originality!

Truth and truth only
