Pratap Bhanu Mehta in the Indian Express hits the nail on the head:

the BJP needs to learn a political lesson. Nothing diminished L.K. Advani before the last election more than his artless, passionate and entirely a priori defence of Sadhvi Pragya. Their attack on Hemant Karkare haunts them to this day; it suggested a level of pre-commitment, small-mindedness and a lack of institutional judgment not befitting a leader. Nitin Gadkari’s equivocations and Ravi Shankar Prasad’s defensiveness are in the same vein.

The BJP has to recognise that a strong and credible state is incompatible with any form of community partisanship. It could have turned this crisis on the head by at least being consistent on the issue of possible miscarriages of justice. It could have shown equal concern for Muslim youths falsely arrested...

...Let us, for a moment, even suppose that the Congress is playing cheap politics with the timing of these revelations. But even cheaper politics, in return, will do more damage. In some ways, for us as citizens, the charge that the investigation is politicised is also a psychologically easy let-off. It prevents us from fully confronting the significance of all that is being revealed.

A few self-selected crazies on the net notwithstanding, there is little reason to believe that the activities of the terror groups being identified has wide political support. If anything, there is likely to be revulsion. But there is a danger that this revulsion will be overshadowed by embarrassment, producing a silence that smacks of complicity. This silence can only add to the political damage we have already inflicted on ourselves.

If the pseudo seculars like PB Mehta want to belive that some Muslim youths were wrongly picked up after the blasts then Aseemsnand could also have been wrongly picked up and extracted confessions under duress at least on the Samjhowtha express blasts.

Why we want to trust the Americans on Headly's role in 26/11 and now withdraw from that trust in the Samjhowth blast even when America corrobortated the hand of Pakistan then and Safdar Nagori was held responsible..Now will the seculars belive that both Nagori and Aseemanand be tried at the same time and convicted for a same crime as both have confessed.

Even if  people like you want to belive that the right wing terrorists were involved in those four blasts will you accept the rest as were perpetrated by the Muslims and the reason the Muslim youths that were picked up after the blasts was not wrong.

Will Mamtha Bannerjee  also be held responsible for all the blasts, destruction, violence and kiilings by the Maoists in India .I think the Maoists have killed more seucrity personnels and innocents than those killed in those four blasts alleged to have masterminded by the right wing.

Will the Communist party be held responsible for all the violence and killings committed by thier blue eyed boys-the Naxalites?

Will the government hold the Church and the Vatican as reponsible for the insurgency, killing of our security forcs in the north east?.

Everything is related as everything is happening in India. One killing does not justify the other. But when one is trying to show an accusing finger at the other then rest of the four at pointing back.

Let the law take its own course. Those who commited crime are sinners and those who allowed others to di it and remain silent are more sinners.

The language that terrorists understand is counter terrorism and swift retaliation and Israel has amply proved it while other countruies talking of peace and reconciliation are suffering. The retaliation in kind has already made the terrorists who were out to destabilse this country by conniving with an enemy country are made  to piss in their pants.

Pratap Bhanu Mehta once bitten by the JNU Delhi bug will inavaribly want to bite the BJP and the Sangha Parivar on every available occasion..I do not know if he ever wrote and spoke on the millitancy in Kashmir the way the ethnic Kashmiri Pandits were driven out from there.the way how those Pakistani sponsored separatists along with militants killed many innocent people from the ethnic minorities and those migrant people who came there seeking a job to make a living.Or when those church backed and the missionary sposnored insurgents killing our security forces and engageing in ethnic cleaning at North east. All these definitely have a relation for the accumalated frustration of the right wing because every one now know that the people in power are silent on the trouble created by their vote bank and also the reason they were shying away from stopping them.Does Mr.Mehta thinks that the lives of the Hindus or non Muslims/christians are less precious?.

Every politician in every party defends his support base and come to its rescue.whats wrong in this. Are the communits not supporting those accused of sedition or those militant groups like Maoists and Naxalites..
Two wrongs do not make one right. But when one keeps on making wrong there will be a natural reaction which is natutally justified. We have a history behid us where the majority has faced the onslughts from the people representing the vote banks.

But in India secularism means just accuse the Hindus for all the ills of the country. The pseudo secular party's.thier crony media and its under-cover agents like some people in high positions in society want to say 'Hindus can afford to suffer in the larger interst of the country.Because these secular jewels dont have the guts to speak against a predator fearing a reprisal so blame the victim.
Bihar elections results should be an eye opener for people like Mr.Pratap Bhanu Mehta. The same situations what  exist now was there before the elections in Bihar and the people there have sent the right messages and signals telling pseudo seculars to 'shut up'

It has now become a fashion for the pseudo seculars to talk and shed crocodile tears for those Muslims youths wrongly implicated. after the bomb blasts. Will they with the same vehement  shed some more tears for the victims of the Muslim terrorism.Has Mr.Mehta ever spoke for the people massacred at Godhra or any other bomb blasts other those four alleged to have perpetrated blasts by the right wing.  Or will he speak for the Muslims alone killed at Gujarat.?

Its the selective and biased media who are invariably anti Hindu are making politics out of Aseemanand's confessions even when the issue is under investigation. How come two confessions of people of diametrically opposite views and ideology be the same.If we want to trust Americans information on Headlys revelations on 26/11 why then they dont want to belive them on Samjhowtha as well where they have corroborated our findings with them about the hand of Pakistan in that blast. All these shows that the Indian secularim is flawed, faulty and pervert.
Why not also talk on other kinds of world reknowned terrorism like Jihadi and Missionary as well if the journalists and acedemcians are so liberal and secular. They too have a wide political and international connections and ramifications and who are out to destabilise our country. If silence of some is dangerous then telling a lie or glorification of others is equally dangerous.Taking sides in the neame of seculaism is even more dangerous.

To be fair, the CBI is hogwash. If the CBI can defend Quattrochi, then it can frame Asimanand. I have begun to distrust the Congress, because of definite reasons. However, the BJP went hounding after the Tehelka publication, after Bangaru Laxman's "Tryst with Destiny". All the Congress and BJP do, is to express that the one is less scandalous than the other.

Inspite of all the lies this CON party and their servants on the web are spinning, the story is changing about Samjhauta balsts day by day...

Sunil Joshi, NOT Aseemanand the mastermind behind Samjhauta blasts

While the National Investigation Agency is convinced that Swami Aseemanand, a Hindu right-wing leader, was involved in the Samjhauta Express blasts that killed 68 people in 2007, they feel that he is not the mastermind behind the attack. The swami's confessions point out that though he was aware of the attack, it was planned by Sunil Joshi, Aseemanand's alleged right hand man, who was murdered in mysterious circumstances in Dewas in Madhya Pradesh [ Images ] on December 29, 2007.

Digivjay sick old man's defense. The dead guy called me. The dead guy did it all. He admitted to Aseemanand. We don't know who his helpers are. I feel the ITALIAN scamsters are felling the heat of the 2G scam.
