He represents the common man's sentiments towards the ruling class. It is a reminder to them that they are not invincible and are answerable to the people of India who selected to be the representatives. The parliamentarians are the representatives of people they are not as powerful as the people of India. They forgot their true identity and by defying the common man they are no more our representatives.
