Tweeting this led to someone sending me a whole lot of such links. Some of those:

As this tweet put it in perspective:

RT @varungrover: @SundeepDougal Bottom line, Pakistan is doing better than us in most of the liberal arts. #Music #humor #writing #TVdebates

And staying on the subject of freely sharing what one thinks about others, the Letters of Note website decided to put up a letter written by D.H.  Lawrence to his friend and mentor, Edward Garnett, where among other things, this is what he says about the people of England:

I had a rather nice letter from somebody — "Hugh Walpole." Is he anybody? Could I wring three ha'porth of help out of his bloody neck. Curse the blasted, jelly-boned swines, the slimy, the belly-wriggling invertebrates, the miserable sodding rotters, the flaming sods, the snivelling, dribbling, dithering palsied pulse-less lot that make up England today. They've got white of egg in their veins, and their spunk is that watery it's a marvel they can breed. They can but frog-spawn — the gibberers! God, how I hate them! God curse them, funkers. God blast them, wish-wash. Exterminate them, slime.

I could curse for hours and hours — God help me.

on sidenote iyer was a card carryin communist and his inclusion in forein service was vetoed by intellieence aencies

secondly he is from doon school and so arroant that he publicly mocked Macken for his enlish

even in tv debated one can easily notice his attitude haughty towards other speakers

@ zafar

agree with you on that. Seetharaman is an able lady but she is forced to defend the indefensible

on the other hand Chandan Mitra cedes too much space to MSI

Ravi Shankar can be a ood lawyer but on tv he does not counter Abhishek Manu Sinhvi effecitvely

BJP actually needs a better cadre of people who have to fiht it out on tv but on the other hand even a casual observer will notice how ndtv and cnn ibn are partial towards conress both in terms of time in debates and proddin deep

>>Your second mistake of the day. Why single out poor Renuka? The entire Congress consists of low IQ loonies.

Must have been the breakfast.

@AGOSUKE - "MS Iyer was in Pakistan as diplomat and spent some years there"

I know that. That is why I said people who have only heard him speak on TV will scarcely believe he could have been a diplomat. So, your comment will be interpreted as "... some years there ....  before he was dismissed from service".
